Each Android update is always eagerly awaited by fans. Now Android
5.0 Key Lime Pie recreates the scene because rumor says that the new
version will be available any time soon. It will be a new history since
Jelly Bean has many substantial improvements over the previous version.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 recently released is still running Android Jelly
Bean. The high specification Smartphone would be more powerful if it's
powered by Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. We all know that the phone is
technically superior than other Galaxy series and other high-end
Smartphones released recently.
Rumors about the new Android
version surfaced last year. It was said that Key Lime Pie would be
codenamed Android 4.2. That means there would only be minor updates
applied to the Pie. But now it will be referred to as 5.0, meaning there
will be many additional configurations to enhance the functionality of
your Smartphone. Well, it's April right now, and that means Android 5.0
Key Lime Pie would be here around next month. Google plans to debut it
from 25-27 of May. Although it is getting close, there is no information
about the exact features that will come with it.
However, some
experts have made predictions about what features will be embedded into
it. You may remember the news stating that Google has a project with the
Linux 3.8 kernel. If that is proven true, then the Linux 3.8 kernel
will probably make it into the Key Lime Pie. Some improvements are worth
noting because it will make your Smartphone more efficient. The new 3.8
kernel is designed to be able to lower RAM usage. How does this affect
your Smartphone? Low RAM usage means the multitasking functionality will
be better. Some Smarpthones have problems in this area. So, we can
expect more from the new Android OS.
Another rumor has it that it’s only
quad core processors that Key Lime Pie would work with. Well, if the
rumors are true, then more super Smarpthones would fly to the market.
There are many other predictions stated by experts, such as Google
Babble integration (Hangout, Voice, Google Talk, and Messenger), touch
keyboard upgrade, and much more.
