New Evernote Update Brings A New Look and Numerous Features

10:43 PM

As conversations about Evernote vs. Google Keep are heating up, now Evernote releases its new version app for Android. Some substantial changes were made that will improve user experience. The first one is that you will get a new fresh design. Next you can also see better search and photo features. The iOS users are probably quite familiar with the updates as they first landed on iOS. You can already get the app in the Google Play Store. Well, Google has just released its Google Keep which is barely in the same league as Evernote. It's just the beginning. The new app still has a chance to catch on Evernote, but probably not in the near future. Some similarities are seen between Evernote for Android and Google's Keep. But Google is integrated with Google Drive that steps up the competition.

Evernote for Android with its notable updates

Many new features are presented to meet the needs of users. There is now a feature called multishot. With this feature, you can capture a lot of photos at a time and instantly save them in your account without the need to close the camera first. Another feature called page camera comes from iOS. This functionality will turn your camera into a pocket scanner. To get better results, the page camera will increase the contrast and reduce the shadows that appear on the photos. Evernote for Android becomes more special to users because Android gets the first chance to access shortcuts. The feature was recently introduced for Mac. If you have favorite notes, the feature enables you to access them more easily by adding them to the left panel. This way you do not need much time to find the notes that are buried deep down.

There are still some new updates that Evernote brings to the table. As we know, Evernote is building a partnership with Moleskine, and the result is easier digitization. Premium users also get more services, one of which is they could use a search feature that works to index keywords in open office documents and other computing programs.
